Are good physical therapy services avilable in Singapore for CP child?

We live in New York and are now looking to move to Singapore.

Our son, who is six years old, has mild cerebral palsy, largely
affecting his left leg. He has been receiving regular Physical and
occupational therapy here in New York and has shown a lot of improvement.

In all other aspects he is doing well. He goes to a mainstream school
and is doing well academically.

We are now looking to move to Sinngapore. Would someone know what kind of
services are available in Singapore and if it would be good for our son if
we moved there. And also how the system there works. For instance here in the
US the system is very well set up and all the therapies are taken care of by the
education board. There is periodic evaluation and changes are suggested as and when
required.

Hi, i just came across this site. I am not sure if you are already in Singapore.
I am not able to answer your question professionally.
I am a resident in Singapore & my elder son has mild CP and we do have Centre with
Professional therapy who handle well in their service. I couldn't tell if US provide a better service than here as
i had never been to US.

If you are still interested to find out, you may email me at " oclleon@yahoo.com ".
I may get the appropriate centre(runs by the govenment ) to keep in touch with you.

The only advise i would like to provide is that, it may not be cheap for non citizen.
If money is not a concern to you, i am confident that Singapore does provide a good Centre to support people with CP.

Cheers.
