Welcome

Our son Daniel is 26 and has mild CP and was able to earn a masters degree in educational technology. The most difficult thing for me as a parent was to see Daniel's courage but he has not be able to find a social nitch where he feels connected. I cannot bring myself to be the disciplinarian father I need to be at times when this is necessary particularly now that Dan is adult. Dan's transition to adulthood has been more difficult for this parent than the stages when Dan was in school. I wish I were wiser in this regard. We did the unconditional love part pretty well but the discipline part was the hard for me to do.
