I did CE with my son when he was about 3-4 years of age. The earlier the better! We still have our large and small chair, but got rid of our plinth (donated it to the CP center which finally decided to keep up with the times. Also did CE with a Hungarian trained teacher. I'm in NY, but I wish you the best of luck. Home Depot donated all of the wood for our equipment from a grant proposal I sent them; maybe they can do the same for you depending on how far along you guys are. My son is 20 now and had hip surgeries 4 years in a row when he left CE at 5 (aged out). I wish the best for you....God's blessings.
