May 29, 2009:  Away for a while, but now back.

Last year I decided to return to University to further my education.  I had limited time to maintain this website, other than keep it up and running for others to use.  CP Parent has contined to amaze me and everyone else considering the rapid growth of the site.  I hope to upgrade it by September 2009 to a new software version that will allow even greater capabilities for us all to collaborate and learn from each other.

In other exciting news, we have just opened up a new partnership with WalMart, as well as several online stores selling great disability related products for you or your loved ones.  Any purchases you make at these partners will help support this site.  Check out our new CP Store today!  We will be growing this store quickly over time.

There is big news on CPParent.com!  We've created the Worlds First CP Toy & Activity survey and study - see our Discussions page.  Our May 2008 Cerebral Palsy newsletter is now available online.  Our growth is amazing - more than 100% visitor growth every 2 weeks, visitors from 41 different countries, and 35 US states already.  We also have a signup page below where you can be notified of our monthly newsletter and medical advancements in CP.  Thank you and enjoy!

April 25, 2008:

Well, we finally got our website online.  Thank you to those who have emailed letters of support.  We are getting our site loaded into the major search engines, and are seeing our traffic increasing steadily now.  We still would love your help to get the word out, and participate in our discussion areas.  Any suggestions you have would be very welcome!  Thank you very much.  - Nathan.

Welcome to CPParent.com

In April 2000, a beautiful little girl named Sarah was born.  She had a difficult birth, and at about 9 months of age, she was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.  My name is Nathan, and I am  Sarahs father.  By trade, I am an IT specialist working in the Financial Services industry for one of the largest companies in the world.

I created CPParent.com in April 2008 in an effort to provide a place for parents to connect with each other, and share messages and information about Cerebral Palsy.

If you have any questions or comments, your feedback is always welcome.

Sincerely,

Nathan
